Door Risk Advisors is a partnership organisation bringing together a number of door manufacturers and fire door solution providers. All partners are independent and specialise in the supply and installation of fire doors and door management systems. All partners have both ISO9001 and ISO14001 and are independently certified for both manufacture and installation.
By combining the strengths of some of the UK’s top fire door, hardware and locking system manufacturers and installers we can assist in developing a combined, holistic and cost effective fire door strategy for your building.
Combining door options as diverse as FD240S Smoke and Fire, Secured by Design Steel Doors, to FD30S GRP front entrance doors with a whole range of timber FD30S and FD60S doors and screens, riser doors, secure fire information boxes, a co-ordinated (and Fire Service Approved) master keyed system, hold back devices and door operation systems to manage the requirements for fire, security and disability access/egress, you can see that Door Risk Advisors are the ideal organisation to help you.
Never before has such a combined and complimentary grouping of door specialists worked in partnership; a partnership geared to manage costs and eliminating risk.
All the door manufacturing partners have vast experience, gained over many years, of fire, security and DDA door regulation and all doors that they supply are fully tested, assessed and approved by UKAS testing centres for both fire and security.
Door Risk Advisors offer the most comprehensive product portfolio and practical advice based upon the needs and dynamics of the individual building and offer practical help and assistance in developing a specification that will fulfil the requirements of the RRO in such a way as to satisfy the needs and dynamics of both the building owner and the building user.
So How Does It Work?
Door Risk Advisors meet with you, the client, and discuss what the needs of your buildings are.
We visit site to look at the building dynamics in relation to fire and smoke requirements, security and operational need.
We put together a practical and cost effective fire door plan and recommend the door and door management solutions that work for you the client, the needs of the building user and the requirements of external parties, such as the Fire Brigade or the Caring Profession.
We draw up a site specific specification, source the correct products and, where applicable, specialst contractors. We then put forward a lead partner, based upon the nature and type of project, to facilitate the works.
During the course of the project Door Risk Advisors will monitor the works to ensure compliance with the specification.
